Most recently joining Edge are Stephen Breed, Susan Newton and Donnie Price. Stephen Breed joins Edge having served as Bank-Fund Staff Federal Credit Union’s(BFSFCU) CEO and Director of Lending Services for a combined total of 24 years. Recognized in the credit union industry as a thought leader and visionary, Stephen orchestrated BFSFCU’s transition from an operational business model to a corporate culture of Engaged Service and guided the institution to top-tier financial performance during the global recession. Additionally, Stephen has a background in card services, having grown BFSFCU’s card program from a handful of cards to one of the top 75 Visa issuers in the country. In addition to his service in the credit union industry, Stephen also brings extensive entrepreneurial experience in retail banking and mortgage lending.
Susan Newton joins Edge after spending the previous 19 years working at the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), most recently serving as the Chief Engagement Officer In this role, she was responsible for maximizing CUNA’s engagement efforts with member credit unions, state credit union leagues, system partners, and other external organizations. In addition, she had executive responsibility for Credit Union House on Capitol Hill, served as liaison to the National Credit Union Roundtable Advisory Committee, CUNA’s Volunteer Leadership Committee and several other groups. Prior to joining CUNA, Newton was with the Texas Credit Union League for ten years, serving most recently as Senior Vice President - Member Services. Before her tenure at the League, Newton was with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.
For nearly 30 years, Donnie Price has provided financial institutions and their solution providers with relentless advocacy, valuable insights, executive leadership, actionable strategies, and consulting services that have optimized performance metrics.
Donnie comes to Edge from Four Points Federal Credit Union, where he served as President/CEO. Donnie also spent 18 years in the payments industry, with PSCU and First Data Corporation, and is an expert in payments technology, portfolio profitability, growth strategies, conversions management, risk management, vendor selection, and emerging payments trends.
